Troubleshooting

I submitted a SOAP call but the letter isn't in the queue

  1. Check if your server can access our server:
    • Open a browser on your server and go to http://api.postalmethods.com/. Can you see a listing of PostalMethods web service methods? If not, something is blocking you from getting to our SOAP API. Try browsing to www.google.com. If you cannot access Google as well, check you firewall, DNS settings and internet connection.
  2. Check if the PostalMethods web service is live:
    • Go to SOAPClient.com and enter http://api.postalmethods.com/PostalWS.asmx?WSDL as the "WSDL File Address", then click 'Retrieve'.
    • Scroll down to the method you are trying to use from your script.
    • Enter all fields and click 'Invoke'.
