Email to USPS

Email-to-USPS refers to a capability that allows a user to send an email, which is automatically processed, converted into a postal letter, and sent through the USPS. PostalMethods implements Email-to-USPS transparently. Here's what you need to do to send your emails through the USPS:

  1. Sign up for a PostalMethods account
  2. Login to the control panel with your newly-generated username and password
  3. Tell PostalMethods from which email address(es) you will be sending your email-to-letter under User Settings -> Security -> Allowed Email Senders
  4. Download a Word template and use it to write your letter
  5. Save your letter and send it as an email attachment to
  6. That's it! PostalMethods will convert your Email and send it through the USPS. You can now follow your letter's handling status through the control panel's Activity tab
